Fall Young Adult Retreat (ages 16-25)

The Fall Young Adult Retreat at Brigadoon Village (September 18–20, 2026) is designed to bring together young adults who have experienced cancer for a weekend of connection, growth, and community.

This retreat offers a supportive space to step away from daily routines and focus on building resilience, developing life skills, and connecting with others who share similar experiences. Through a mix of outdoor activities, facilitated group sessions, and relaxed social time, participants will be encouraged to challenge themselves, reflect, and grow, while having fun along the way.

Who is this retreat for?

  • Young adults aged 16–25
  • Individuals living in Atlantic Canada
  • Those who have had an oncology diagnosis (living with or beyond cancer)

What to expect

Throughout the weekend, participants will engage in programming that supports:

  • Personal growth and confidence-building
  • Skill development and resilience
  • Meaningful peer connection and community-building

Activities may include outdoor adventure programming, team-building experiences, and opportunities to relax and recharge in a safe, inclusive environment.

General Participation Expectations

  • Willingness to participate in group-based activities
  • Comfort engaging in outdoor programming
  • Ability to stay overnight in shared accommodations
  • Ability to participate in a full day of programming
